Craig Berube: A Hockey Legend

Craig Berube, born December 17, 1965, is a Canadian former professional hockey player and current head coach of the St. Louis Blues. Berube's journey from player to coach has been one of determination, hard work, and unwavering passion for the sport.

A Seasoned Veteran

Berube's playing career spanned from 1982 to 2004. He played for several NHL teams, including the Flyers, Oilers, Flames, and Rangers. Throughout his career, Berube established himself as a formidable defenseman known for his physicality and defensive prowess.

Coaching Beginnings

Berube's coaching career began in 2011 as an assistant coach with the Philadelphia Flyers. In 2013-14, he took over as interim head coach after Peter Laviolette was fired. Berube's brief tenure with the Flyers saw him lead the team to a respectable 32-22-8 record.

STL Success

In 2019, Berube was named head coach of the St. Louis Blues. Under his leadership, the Blues won their first Stanley Cup in 2019. Berube's coaching style, which emphasizes discipline and accountability, has consistently produced successful results.
