Kim Hanbin, AKA B.I. of K-Pop Group iKON, Arrested
In a shocking turn of events, Instagram celebrity domestic_seal, who has amassed over 447,000 followers, has been revealed to be an impersonator and has been arrested.
Police confirmed the arrest of the suspect, who has been identified as a 30-year-old male. The individual had been posing as Kim Hanbin, also known as B.I., a former member of the popular K-Pop group iKON.
The impersonator had been using the domestic_seal account to post photos and videos of B.I., as well as engaging with fans and pretending to be the singer.
YG Entertainment, the agency representing B.I., released a statement condemning the impersonation and expressing support for the singer.
Police are investigating the extent of the impersonation, including whether any financial gain was obtained through the scam. The suspect is currently being held in custody while the investigation continues.
